WHAT’S NEW & HIP FROM YSL:
Since we went to Paris to fall in love with the city and their lifestyle, I’ve decided to sum up some of my favorite YSL makeup products at the moment.
The Base Ingredient
Healthy skin comes before beautiful skin and like every girl who wears makeup it’s important to keep your skin healthy from wrinkles, especially those that come from wearing makeup daily. The Eye Zone is probably my most affected area, since I like to play around a lot with color and new makeup techniques,so if you like to keep your skin youthful and healthy, I do recommend the “YSL Forever Youth Liberator”. The first time I’ve tried it on, was because I saw that my skin around my eyes was affected because of my makeup routine so I decided to test the serum out. It was recommended to use it before you apply makeup, so I did the same thing. After applying it to my eyezone I saw that the redness on my waterline and around my eyezone started to decrease, and after applying it once a day for 3 days, I saw that the dark circle area around my eyes started to even out, and the skin was less dry so if I put Highlighter like “Touche Eclat” my skin looked a lot better. I do recommend it because it helps your skin to prevent aging process that comes from wearing makeup and because it deeply hydrates your skin. The one that I got was for my eyezone which helps me prevent wrinkles and gives an extra glow to my eyezone. The serum is not oily at all, and is very quickly absorbed to my skin, I liked that a lot because my eyezone is extra oily, if you know what I mean, and I count hydrating skin that works on my lips with one hand only. If you feel that your makeup causes you dryness or wrinkles for that matter, try the “YSL Forever Youth Liberator” for the whole face, and if you are the type that is always in a hurry, try the “YSL Foundation with the Forever Youth Liberator Serum”.It’s a 2 in 1 solution for your skin especially if you want to keep your face long lasting hydrated, and youthful, even after applying makeup on.

The Couture Palette
When Spring arrives I like to mix up a lot of pink in my makeup routine, and the Couture Palette ” Surrealiste” from YSL is exactly what I need to create their 3 signature looks, the “Parisienne Rebel” , “Tuxedo Rock” and “Edgy Couture” all with one palette, with a touch of pink. I find the palette is very romantic and is suited for every girl, from simple to 3 layer makeup, your look will be set you apart. If you are looking for more contrast mix it up with “Parisienne” which has a soft grey as a base color. Which ever you will choose, you can easy create a smoky eye, which you can wear all day long. Go for the simple “Base and Highlight” to where you mix all the 3 different shades to achieve a very “parisienne”look.

The Couture Kajal
It’s a go-to for the girl who is always rushing to get places but still wants to wear her makeup that is long lasting. I’ve purchased it in Cobalt since I’m a sucker for blue eyeshadow. When I want to achieve a bold look I mix it with the “Couture Mono” in Blue.

The classic Touche Éclat
Since my skin is fair, I go for the lightest shade possible I.e. No.1 and I use it to enhance my face trades like my brow bone, and recently I’m adding it over my Foundation on the lower and upper brow arch to make my brow makeup pop. It’s a go to that I’ve discovered recently and I love it a lot. Of course, it is a good idea to use it before you use your powder, since I’ve discovered it’s very good for hydrating your skin especially under the eyes and the T- Zone, which let’s your skin look smooth and fresh. It goes well to apply before or after you apply your foundation. If you are a girl who loves a good plump up Effect try to use it around your lip area, and blend it well in, so that your lips look bigger and we all know how much we love to have a bold lip sometimes. Totally recommend it, since it’s very versatile and easy to use. It can hydrate your skin and make it look more youthful and pretty, if you have a normal skin, it can be also used as a Highlighter.
Lips with “Je ne sais quoi “
The new idea of YSL Beauty for creating a new lipstick that is also a Gloss but has the touch of a lip stain is very cool, since it’s both hydrating as a Gloss but also color resistant, especially if you need to kiss your bae more than once that day. That being said,it is very boyfriend-friendly! There are multiple shades to pick from, but if you are after only after the glossy effect, the transparent shade is the one for you.

The Scent of Spring
“Mon Paris” was the fragrance from YSL Beauty that I wanted to try ever since I saw it on Fashion TV. And of course, after arriving in Paris, I wanted toe explore the wonderful French capital like it was presented on the ad. This has brought me to create an “ad”-like post showing Paris through the YSL vibes. If you haven’t seen the post already check it out here. That aside, it is a very feminine scent, and even Tavi likes it, he said that they could totally pull it off as an unisex scent, since he liked wearing it too during our Paris trip. So there you have it, it is great both great for girls and boys alike, and you will always have it to remember Paris, just like we did.If are a Paris lover in general, the perfume is is pretty much what you would expect to feel when traveling to Paris during Spring. Also, the YSL brand extended this collection, with an add-on Eyeshadow palette and Blush. The eyeshadow palette is similar to the one from their “Parisienne” collection, but is better suited for those who have a crush on pink and purple shades. If you haven’t tried it have it a go!
