There was an old print screen I did around the time I went from Bucharest to Cluj. Around that time my interests shifted a lot by having access to FTV and to a lot of fashion shows. One that took me by far was the new Longchamp campaign with Alexa Chung. After stumbling upon their homepage I spent I think hours looking at the button “Personnaliser“, where you create your special order from Longchamp. I tried to remember how the bag looked like when I saw it on FTV, and when I was satisfied I hit print screen and saved it to my desktop like many do on pinterest or tumblr. It was my wish that one day I will get a Longchamp bag.
When we went the first day in Paris, I wanted to badly to find the Longchamp store, it was practically the only thing I could think of. After a bit of searching we finally found it, on 404 RUE SAINT HONORE. We quickly entered and we started to look at display bags when a nice lady asked me in French if I wanted to shop for myself. I nodded because I speak only a little French and she politely pointed out the store from across the street, which was the Lady Section. After going through the store and happy jumping around like a popcorn, I saw the pink bag that I fell in love with at the first sight. The lady there said I could have it engraved for free at their store I more than happy said yes. Twenty minutes later it was done, my first personalized Longchamp bag, which still has the classic “Le Pliage”design which I adore. So after carrying happily around Paris we decided to go to another great place before heading to the Normandy.
The Foundation represents everything that the iconic brand Louis Vuitton represents: a deep respect for all kind of art forms, from paintings to music, a glam factor that you cannot find elsewhere, and an audacious behavior in all lifestyle events. This is what I wanted to show:
AUDACITY and a BOLD LOOK in a bold and colorful place.
Are you a fan of the classic “Le Pliage” series of Longchamp? Are you tempted to try something new? I adore the original series, but the newest version is definitely more up my street! What do you think?
Bissous from Paris!
