HOW TO SPEND
24H IN PARIS
September is an important month for all fashionistas, because it bring the highlights of Fashion and Runway of all famous designers that marks the Fashion Trends for the next season. It is the month of the Fashion Week held in the 4 most prestigious cities around the world: New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Week.
Since we went to Paris this Spring I wanted to share with you what you can do while visiting Paris Fashion Week for the whole period or are just there for just a day. Keep reading to find what my favorite places in Paris are!
As many of you know by now, Paris was one of the travel destination on our wishlist this year, and we made it happen. This city is everything you need to keep you busy, from different cafes every corner, unique shopping districts scattered all over Paris (If you are sucker for unique Parisian perfume, this is the place to get lost 🙂 ) , cool cinema experiences like we had while seeing “Ghost in the Shell” and the 3D glasses you could take home with you was a very sweet experience, leisure in parks we did catch to visit during our stay, and of course Fashion! Fashion was the reason we decided to stay here longer deeper into the night, changing rooms for more comfort, exploring the city’s most prestigious places, chasing free parking spots, we did it all!
This post is all about what you could do if you have only one day, I.e. arrive early and have to leave the same day or early the next day.
If you want to make the most of your time in Paris, and not hustle that much, chill and have with your friends, these are my top 5 recommendations!
VISIT ANGELINA FOR BRUNCH
While many girls know Angelina for their delicious hot cocoa, if you are not such a fan and want something else for an experience, head over around 15.00 p.m. for their tea time. You get a variety of sweets, sandwiches and of course macaroons accompanied by your favorite beverage. I usually go for a good latte, and their recommendations was delicious!
One Destination/ Multiple Choices
SHOP ‘TILL YOU DROP AT “LES GALLERIES LAFAYETTE”
The “Galleries Lafayette” is THE most prestigious place in Paris to go shopping. They have everything you could want as a fashionista, and they even separated their fashion stores into ladies and gents section, having in total 4 department stores. Also if you want to chill after a long day of shopping go to the top floor and check out their dreamy terrace.
GO ON TOP OF THE EIFFEL TOWER
I needed to add this, because it is a special place, even for the Parisians, visiting the Trocadero district, and going on top of the Eiffel Tower is a dream of many people I know. It is such an iconic location that it was used by many incredible brands for all the major fashion campaigns so it is obvious that everyone feels the urge to visit the location and visit this iconic place at least once in their lives. Speaking of pictures ,if you are an Instagram addict as I am you will notice how instagrammable this location is, so we decided to use one day and take the leap. We shot this iconic campaign for YSL Beauty ” Mon Paris” and if you haven’ t checked it out, you will find it here!

CHILLING AT A PARISIAN CAFÉ
Believe it or not, it was the Café “Le Frank” from the Fondation Luis Vuitton . I think their coffee is the closest of what I’m used to drink. Their menu is different for every meal, so when we arrived we didn’t have the chance to test their menu, but for our drinks we got THE most delicious hash brownies. They were really yum!

OUTDOOR MOMENTS AROUND THE LOUVRE MUSEUM
The Louvre Museum is a popular get together spot for all kind of people, not just tourists, during the day we say many Parisian people chilling in the grass, playing with their favorite pet, and some who wanted less action went for a “duck – watching” near the small pond. This is the place where we decided to have a picnic while eating yummy macaroons from Ladurée, another yet must-visit places in Paris if you are great fan of macaroons. From Louvre you can practically reach everything in one day from Angelina on the one side, but if you cross the bridge over the Seine you can reach any interesting part of Paris, like Musée d’Orsay , many interesting artistic places and cafes, and of course the Eiffel Tower in the Trocadero district.
This is why I do recommend to seek out this part of Paris near the Louvre, because from here you can see and visit a lot in one day, trust me. Which is why we picked this spot to shoot this lovely outfit, perfect for the off- season weather in Paris. Happy traveling in Paris!
